Tom Sanderson

Tom Sanderson, PT, GPS

Tom graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University in 1985 with a career focus in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. Tom's expertise includes Functional Movement Evaluations as well as designing athletic strength and conditioning programs for all athletes ranging from high school to the professional levels. In addition, Tom has designed and implemented spine strength and conditioning programs as well as developing multiphase back school programs.

Tom played collegiate baseball at the University of Arizona and has a special interest in baseball specific rehabilitation. He has developed baseball specific injury prevention programs for several of the local high schools and routinely works with collegiate and minor league professional baseball players. Tom and Shawn have developed a baseball specific injury screen and will be working with a research team from USC to implement this screen on a national level. Tom is a Nike Golf Certified Performance Specialist. Outside the clinic, Tom is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys all sports.

Mike DuBois

Mike DuBois, PT, DPT, MS, CSCS, GPS

Mike has been a physical therapist in Tucson for over 25 years since graduating from the University of New England in Southern Maine in 1987. His focus has been primarily in the field of Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

Certified as a clinical specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 1999. He has a Masters in Geriatric Science and guest-lectures at the University of Arizona for medical students and graduate students in the area of functional changes associated with aging.

Mike has also been involved with developing strength and conditioning programs for local High School athletic teams while working regularly with Zona Volleyball and Sky Island Volleyball Club. Mike maintains his passion in arranging screening programs for local high school sports and club sports teams in order to enhance athletic performance and reduce risk of injuries.

Steven Hughes, PTA

Steven Hughes, PTA

Steven was born and raised in Tucson and graduated from Pima Medical Institute with his Occupational Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant in 2015. He also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University in 2009.

Steven has worked with the geriatric population in Tucson for six years as a Health Fitness Specialist and coordinator, having experience with wide varieties of geriatric pathologies, and disabilities. He is dedicated to returning all of his patients to their greatest level of function.

Steven has a very active and athletic family, and is an enthusiastic sports fan. You may spot Steven golfing, running, or supporting family at little league baseball and Tia Kwon Do events.

Alex Morse, PT, DPT

Alex Morse, PT, DPT

Alex was born and raised in Arizona and graduated with a degree in Psychology and from the University of Arizona in 2009. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Northern Arizona University in 2015, as the first graduating class from the downtown Phoenix campus.

Alex enjoys working with a wide variety of patients from geriatrics to sports rehabilitation. Alex believes that all patients have the ability to make progress towards their goals, pain reduction and ultimately how their body moves.

In his free time, Alex enjoys basketball, hiking, camping, Hunting kayaking, traveling and any other active sports. He adamant in his belief that staying active and getting outside.

Emily Sauter PT, DPT

Emily Sauter PT, DPT

Emily is from upstate New York and graduated from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY with a BS in Health Science in 2014 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016.

Emily swam four years for Nazareth and was a NCAA DIII All-American in 2012. She enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, from geriatrics to athletes of all levels and progressing them towards pain-free functional mobility.

Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys being active, swimming, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Bridget Lynch PT, DPT

Momentum PT is proud to announce the hiring of Bridget Lynch PT, DPT. We are excited to have her a part of our team. She is currently working at our Pima office location.

Bridget is originally from Columbus, Ohio. She completed her undergraduate and graduate education at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa, earning a BS in Biology in 2014, BS in Health Sciences in 2014, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. Bridget comes to us with clinical education experience in a variety of settings, including Traumatic Brain Injury, Pediatrics, and Orthopedics.

Bridget played 4 years of NCAA Division I soccer during her time at Duquesne University, earning a spot on the Atlantic-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll from 2010-2014. When outside the clinic, Bridget enjoys hiking, cooking, and cheering on her hometown team. Go Bucks!

Andrea Kling, P.T., D.P.T., C.A.F.S.

Andrea is a Wisconsin native who completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Minnesota in 2006. After working in pharmaceutical research and development for several years, she and her husband relocated to Texas, where she discovered her passion for physical therapy while working as a technician in a small town P.T. clinic. After graduating at the top of her class with a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (2015), she and her husband relocated to Albuquerque for one year prior to finding their way to Tucson.

When not treating patients at the Houghton Rd location, Andrea enjoys adventure travel abroad, spending time outdoors with her husband and baby girl, and supporting her favorite home teams (the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers).

Garrett DeLaO, PTA

We are excited to have Garrett join the Momentum team at our Pima clinic. Garrett first came to Momentum Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant student on a clinical rotation. After completing his rotation here, Garrett graduated from Pima Medical Institute in Tucson, and then became certificated as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Garrett has an interest in sports, sports medicine and functional rehabilitation.

Chuck Haak, PTA

Chuck came into physical therapy from a career in architecture where he developed a passion for how things are put together and how they work. That passion is now directed toward the function and rehabilitation of the human body. Chuck's background includes bachelor degrees in art and architecture and more recently, a diploma from Pima Medical Institute and certification as a PTA by the state of Arizona.

Chuck has special interests in fall prevention, balance and strength in the aging population and in men's pelvic health issues.

In his free time, Chuck can be found hiking, backpacking and canoeing with his wife, working wood and playing musical instruments, including the 5-string electric bass with his church band.
